There are thousands of events happening in New York City every night, and we do our best to keep New Yorkers updated on the coolest ones-- especially concerts. But sometimes the biggest artists and producers drop a bomb on the public.

NBC producer Lorne Michaels, the man at the helm of Saturday Night Live for years, is universally recognized as either a genius or an idiot-- mainly based on which comedians he's picked up for the SNL and especially for the one's he passed on.

But his latest venture looks to be pretty undeniably genius. 

British singer/songwriter and worldwide sensation Adele will be performing at Radio City Music Hall November 17th, and Michaels will be executive-producing the show.

Not only that, Adele's Radio City performance will be recorded and aired on NBC as a one-hour special called Adele Live in New York City on December 14th.
