Lots of architects, designers, and engineers like to talk about how Manhattan and New York City at large should overhauled in one way or another.

There are a litany of wacky plans for NYC that never happened, like filling in the East River and expanding Manhattan by 50 miles, or that time they wanted to turn Broadway into a giant moving sidewalk in 1872, retro-Jetsons style. 

But now Wired has produced a video outlying what mistakes NYC has made in its lifetime as a metro entity. 

Yes, demolishing the old Penn Station is on the list. But so is Central Park. They wish there was never a Central Park. What, what, what?

These architects think the City would do better without cars too, and well, they might be right about that. Check it out, and let us know what do you think: are these guys out-of-touch or onto something big here?
