By now it should be a undisputed fact that the animals of New York City adore pizza as much as most people do. 

Sure, there are people who need gluten-free pizza and people who have to take a pill to process the lactose in the cheese. Those people are the exception to the rule.

Just like Beyonce, almost everybody loves pizza. Animals included. 

The web freaked out over pizza rat. There's milkshake squirrel too, and let's not forget croissant squirrel. 

Croissant squirrel was spotted on the Upper West Side, and it makes sense because squirrels are the rats of the Upper West.

Plus, where else are there enough extra ground-croissants for squirrels to nab? Paris?

But listen, now there's pizza raccoon. Forget pizza rat, forget croissant squirrel. Pizza raccoon scooped a slice out of the trash, climbed a tree and made itself comfortable while noshing on some tomato pie.

What is it about these animals eating people food that's getting us so jolly lately? They basically amount to disease ridden pests; how is that cute?
