It's really truly happening. The leaves are really falling, and Halloween is really coming.
It's so very typical of New York City to get the ball rolling early. We are go-getters after all. So yes, Bank of America's Winter Village at Bryant Park is opening on October 30th.
Should you lace up your skates and do a lap or two around their free admission ice rink? Certainly. Odds are you'll be dragged there anyway by your friends/family/significant other anyway. Will the free admission ice rink and shops be mobbed?
The answer is certainly. Bank of America's Winter Village at Bryant Park is always packed with crowds, lines, and never winds up being as awesome as you think it'll be.
How can you cope with the lines, overindulgent holiday cheer, and hoards of tourists? The clear response to that question is food. Food is how. There are plenty of excellent food vendors at Bank of America's Winter Village. Which is where we come in.
Read on to discover the dopest spots to chow down at Bank of America's winter village. It's impossible to be upset about tourists and crowds with a mouthful of Wafels & Dinges, right?

They'll certainly warm you right up, that's for sure. They'll also have rich, baked baklava, and you can wash it all down with a steaming cup of Salep, a cinnamon-spiced drink made with ground orchid roots.
Want to go to the Winter Village right now? Great, we do too.

It's hard to find amazing vegan food in this city, right?
Wrong. Not with Mary's V Burger in the picture at least.
It's fast food, and they keep their burgers flying off the grills. Plus, they're succulent, delicious, and comforting. We cannot wait to get our hands on those drum stix with buffalo sauce and vegan blue cheese dressing. Or will we get the BBQ drum stix? We haven't decided yet.
They've got crabby pattys, a shroom steakhouse burger, and mac and cheeze. We could go on and on about how good this stuff is. You should probably just check it out for yourself.

This wildly popular food truck will, in fact, be pumping out steamy, delicious empanadas at the Bank of America Winter Village. Hold your cheers until we are finished the description, please.
What's in these empanadas? Easy. Their bestselling Coconut Curry Chicken blend is one option. They've also got classic beef, pulled pork, and of course vegetarian and vegan options, all wrapped in flaky phyla dough.

We really only have two words to describe these empanadas: absolutely scrumptious.
4. Pickle Me Pete
mackdadddyyy Street fair foooood!!!! #friedpickles #picklemepete #coronita #bulldog #margarita #nyc #9thavefoodfestival @ar2015
If you're a pickle addict, you should really just pray you get dragged off to the Bank of America Winter Village. We've got to tell you, the variety of pickles they have here are really mind spinning.
Here are the varieties they have, and we hope you're prepared to want pickles right now. They have have a classic Kosher dill, an ultra-crunchy "half-sour" pickle, and their tantalizing, fiery hot "Ridiculously Spicy" pickle. It's made with their secret blend of hot peppers and pickling spices.
Our main prediction about the situation is that you'll get more than one pickle. Then, probably an empanada from La Sonrisa Empanadas afterwards.

Their chefs love the looks on faces of new customers after their first bite. Let's just put it this way. Normal, fish-filled sushi won't be the same to you again.
Each Vegushi roll is light, healthy, wonderfully crunch, and packed with varieties like Kiwi Crunch (tofu, cucumber, and enoki mushroom) and their Bryant Park Roll (avocado, eggplant, and pickles topped with sweet potato) which we want right now.
