Before it gets too cold out, you should really think about taking a walking tour of Bushwick street art. Didn't know that was a thing people do? Well it is, and you do now!

They're going on every Friday and Saturday for the rest of the year, and probably beyond since they're pretty popular. And that's not without reason.

New York City's art scene is, in a word, terrific. 

But the result of having so many amazing artists in NYC is that many have to claw tooth and nail up the ranks, and some of them have the cojones to just go out on the street and write it up, slather posters all over the place, sticker bomb, or even do full sized murals overnight.

The beauty of it sometimes is that you can't really tell which murals were commissioned legally and how many are just there because they deserve to be, and the artist went and took that space.

So the walking tour, aye? It's $32 and includes lots of information on who did what and why, when, and of course where. 

All the details is what you're paying for, because let's be honest, you could just walk around Bushwick looking at art by yourself: but you'd never learn anything.

Now, we don't condone you smoking out the tour, but you should definitely do you. Cheefing in public is one thing you should cross off your NYC bucket list, if you have one.
