1. Blue Moon Burger Bash (Pier 92)
Hearing the words "Blue Moon," and "burger," made us melt a little inside too. So, yeah, we'll give you more details.
At the Blue Moon Burger Bash, the best chefs in all of the United States will whip up their favorite burgers with mac & cheese, live music, and dancing on the roof of Pier 92. It's presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats, and hosted by Rachael Ray.

It's all a part of the New York City Wine and Food Festival, put on by the Food Network and Food Channel. All proceeds from the festival are donated to the Food Bank for New York City and Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign, which is an obvious plus.

Everyone loves brunch, right?
If you live in NYC, you're aware of the brunch craze. You should also be aware of the boat ride craze, since everyone loves getting drunk, stuffing their faces, and drinking all the tea and coffee they can, all while gazing into stunning views of the New York Harbor.

We're not sure what the cause for our theater craze is, but we do know that seeing Allegiance at the Longacre Theatre will solve the dilemma of needing to see a play so badly.
Allegiance's star, George Takei, is best known for his social media activism. Yet, at 77, he's making his Broadway debut. The play was inspired by Takei's early experiences with racism, detailing life for the Japanese living in a post-Pearl Harbor America.

4. Drunk Shakespeare (300 West 43rd Street)
Everyone knows Shakespeare was a brilliant writer, that he articulated the entire spectrum of human emotion, and that seeing his plays on a night out is a great way to spend a night out.
Here's what we want to know, though. What about if one of the actors in said Shakespeare play were completely, absolutely, comprehensively wasted?

Since spending a night laughing is undisputedly the best way to spend a night in NYC, you might as well get yourself to Stand Up New York, an Upper West Side comedy club. They've got jokes, skits, and all things funny.
They've got ripe, new talent in addition to established blockbusting comedians. Jeffrey Hernandez, a charming comedian in his own rite, has been hosting this show since 2008. You might just find yourself making Hard Knock Laughs a go-to comedy destination.
