"They don't make 'em like that anymore, and for good reason," an old timey correspondent had to say about Dick Falk, an even old-timier Broadway publicist in this video reporting on the changes coming to Times Square... over 20 years ago.
As of 1992, Falk had been one of the top, or maybe just most prolific and weirdest, PR men in Times Square area, inhabiting an office for 60 years. Some of his clients have included a once young and unknown Barbra Streisand on whose head he stood for a press photo.

Not to mention Charlotte Von Vogt. When asked what he's promoting about Von Vogt, Falk responded,"Her breasts."
Of Von Vogt, hailed as the "it-girl" of bra modeling at the time, Falk wasn't just being creepy; he was being succinct.
Okay, and maybe a little creepy.
Known to brag that he was the inspiration for the deplorable Sydney Falco in the 1957 classic musical Sweet Smell of Success, Falk was surely an NYC character, no matter which way you look at it.
