You may remember our run down of the seven music apps and services that are running things these days. Jay Z's latest enterprise, Tidal, is still revving up.
Of course there was a ton of fanfare around Jay's rebranding of the service, especially because it's owned mainly by major recording artists who know how to throw a party.
We're talking Madonna, Daft Punk, Beyonce, Jack White, Dead Mau5, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Nikki Minaj, Usher, and Alicia Keys, just to name a few.
Now, six months after Tidal's relaunch, it's reached 1 million subscribers. Jay and the crew are throwing a huge celebration concert at Barclay's Center on October 20th.
It gets better: all proceeds go to charity. Who doesn't love a good ol' star studded charity concert?

Well, that's a rhetorical question. A lot of of charity concerts are garbage even though their hearts are in the right place. This one is more of a celebration with the proceeds being donated.
World class acts are due to perform including Beyonce, Usher, and Jay Z himself. But even if you don't care about any of the more contemporary artists...Prince is playing too. Check out the line up below.
