We know. It doesn't feel like a real possibility, and it only feels like a hypothetical question, but seriously, what would you say if we told you we weren't the city in America that orders the most late night delivery?

It's true. Right, we almost fell out of our chairs in shock when we got this news too. 

However, Seamless revealed the numbers and it turns out we came in third place for frequency of late-night dining.

In a shocking turn of events, the city that ordered the most late-night food from Seamless was in fact Chicago, with 14% of their total orders occurring between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

We can at least take comfort in being tied for second place with San Francisco, and that we beat those NYC-wannabes in LA, as they tied with Washington D.C. for third place.

We would say that you all need to turn up the volume on your late-night eating, but also, leaving the apartment every once in a while to procure food has got to be a good thing. We can't really blame those folks in Chicago for not wanting to venture into their sub zero windchill to get dinner.

Seamless also revealed the most ordered late night food of all is pizza. Which is surprising news to absolutely no one. They also let slip that the most ordered food in NYC during dinner hours is Japanese sushi.

We get it. We want Japanese of any kind, but especially sushi right now, too. That makes sense, though, because we are so NYC.

The third most often ordered item for late night NYC munchers is diner food. Which, once again, should surprise no one. The only thing that surprised us about this fact is that New Yorkers are the only ones who order late night diner food with nearly as much frequency as we do.

To that we must say, the rest of the country has got to be missing out. Late night diner food is completely off the chain. Holler if you feel us!
