Keep Netflix & Chill Sacred: 6 Essentials You Can Get Delivered to Your Apartment in NYC

Living in New York City is excellent for a multitude of reasons. We're the world's epicenter of literature, art, culture, movies and songs. We've got a ton of diversity, and hundreds of really great restaurants.

We also don't ever have to drive anywhere, which is really great for those of us who'd rather jump off a building than spend every Saturday night as a designated driver. Sure, that was hyperbolic, but we definitely don't want to worry about DDs and BACs and all those other lame acronyms.

Another great reason not having to drive anywhere rocks? We can get just about anything delivered to our doors.

What can we get delivered to our doors, you might ask?

Well, besides absurdly affordable helicopter service, there are a ton of other services that will bring us everything from whiskey to batteries.

Still wonder why we call ourselves #Spoiled? Didn't think so. Read on to find out what incredible stuff New Yorkers get brought to our doors on the regular.

1. Food

We're aware that Seamless exists in other places, according to Bon Appetit, Chicago even orders more late-night food than we do and San Francisco orders as much, but we've still got to love the fact that there are nearly 4,000 restaurants that deliver via Seamless in Manhattan.

If you don't know what it's like to be up at 3 a.m. in NYC and with a couple of taps on your phone, get a delicious, hot Pad Thai brought right to your door, we really can't relate to you.

Seamless is as much a part of every New Yorkers life as the subway, or like, walking past the Empire State Building. The point is, we're super lucky to be able to get affordable, delicious dinners to our door whenever we want.

We're in a relationship with Seamless, and that relationship is going really well, thanks for asking.

2. Groceries

alicecaterpillar Dayum! Just got my #CSA box from #freshdirect and am super impressed! All this for $45...and all #localfood

We love not having to drive anywhere, but we also hate the strife of carrying heavy grocery bags back from the grocery store.

Holla if you've drunkenly dropped a jar of tomato sauce (or two) and then it shattered on the street!

Well, thankfully New Yorkers no longer have to leave our apartments for bags of weekly eggs, milk, cheese, produce and lunch meats. Thankfully, we've got FreshDirect now, which means we can get our groceries delivered to our door for a very convenient price.

FreshDirect saves our lives every week. Without it, we'd absolutely eat Chinese food and pizza every single night, by using that whole Seamless thing we talked about earlier. The best part is that they deliver as early as 6:30 a.m. and sometimes as late as 11:30 p.m.

Super convenient, #AreWeRight? Check out their available delivery time slots to see when they deliver to your area.

3. Alcohol

getswill How we see things! #getswill

You know the scene. It's a Saturday night, and you're having a group over to drink and chill. You take a shower, get ready, and gradually your friends start to arrive. You all start downing beers and getting buzzed. The vibe gets strong.

Suddenly, the need for whiskey, tequila, or vodka is immense. It's okay if you want rum or gin instead. Really, the problem is that you went into the night thinking you wouldn't drink hard alcohol and now, well, you need it.

Don't stress! You don't need to hightail it two blocks to the liquor store. You could just hit up our pals at Swill or MiniBarand they'll bring you that bottle of Jack Daniel's you need in 60 minutes or fewer. Phew!

4. Apartment cleaning

New Yorkers are busy people. Usually, we've got a ton of stress involving beaus (or lack therof), friendship drama, and work strife.

The last thing any of us need is to have the burden of cleaning our apartments piled on top of all our other stress. That's why we love MyClean, this amazing app that basically collides Seamless with a clean apartment.

All you have to do to use MyClean is book online and decide whether you'd like a shiny, spotless apartment weekly, biweekly, monthly, or just after that crazy Halloween party that decimated your apartment.

It only costs $67 per clean, and takes thirty seconds to book. Are we #Spoiled, or what?

5. Coffee

No one even tries to pretend all New Yorkers aren't coffee fanatics. We're just about as obsessive over coffee as Mufasa was over his kingdom in Lion King. We love coffee just about as much as Aladdin loved his magic carpet.

Too much Disney? Never. Just like our coffee.

We love coffee almost as much as we hate leaving our apartments. Without our morning caffeine jolt, without our daily caffeine buzz, well, we're nothing. Or at least we definitely won't be getting anything accomplished.

This is why we're infinitely thankful for Craft Coffee, the app that roasts fresh coffee in Brooklyn and brings it to your apartment. For free. They always taylor the coffee to your tastes, and they'll suggest new favorites based on what you like.

If you love your coffee fresh, make sure you check Craft Coffee out. They'll bring it to you within days of brewing. How incredible is that?

6. Tickets

No one uses physical tickets anymore, because no one wants to be bothered with the hassle of printing things or waiting in line at will call.

Plus, we all want to know that we're getting the best deal on the games, concerts, and shows we're attending.

We all love comedy, music, and sports, right? Okay, maybe we don't all love sports, but in a city with the Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, Islanders, and Rangers, it's safe to say that a ton of us do.

SeatGeek gives you the tools to attend all the events you love, in a smarter, more economic way. They'll search hundreds of sites and compile all ticket deals into one site. They'll compare ticket listings and ensure you're always getting the most bang for your buck.

Plus, they've got these gorgeous interactive maps that make finding the best seat simple. Buying your next set of tickets with SeatGeek is definitely the move.
