These days, we're used to constantly seeing new videos from the streets of New York City.
Seriously, we're so inundated with NYC videos that we don't even watch the entire clip anymore much of the time.
But what about content from before the dawn of the internet?
What about footage from when Jimmy Carter was in office? If you were into our vintage video post featuring NYC in 1968, then you'll probably dig this NYC street interview compilation from 1979.
Innovative filmmaker David Hoffman shot this footage, and it's pretty amazing.
He asks questions like, "Do you think the government has more power than corporations?' and 'How do you feel about being part of the Information Age?"
Pretty compelling stuff, given our perspective on these ideas over 35 years later.
