Jesse's Deli in Brooklyn's Boerum Hill neighborhood is one of countless corner stores across the city facing an insane rent hike. This is a big problem.

You might remember we reported back in August that seventy-five New York City bodegas have closed up shop this year so far.

So, to fight back, the goofy "prankster activists" behind the recent "Artisanal Landlord Price Hike Sale," at the deli that featured "Artisanal Roach Bombs" and $15 "Slow Roasted 5 Hour Energy," are now offering up their front window space on AirBnB.

For $329 per night, you can (kind of) rent out the front of the bodega.

Why go this far? Well, their rent is expected to more than double from $4,000 to $10,000. That's insane. In order to make up the difference, $329 per night would make them about exactly as much as they'd need.

But it's all kind of a joke, for awareness. You can't actually sleep in the bodega window. However, they are accepting donations for the cause.

If you're into the concept, you're welcome to take a selfie on the bed for free if you post on social media with #AirBnBodega.

But you know what? For $329 we'd happily try and rent out the space and have a teeny, tiny party in honor of the amazingness and necessity of bodegas.

Let's keep our bodegas running, y'all. They're an integral part of the city. You may not think they are right now, but we promise you'll be crying all the way to 7-Eleven once they're all gone...
