When you're the best in the business, the most important thing to avoid is complacency. Stay hungry. Literally.
So this news might be the best thing you've heard all day-- nay, all week. Wait. You're having a bad week already? It's only Tuesday. This'll definitely cheer you up.
Zagat's #1 rated New York City pizza shop for eight years running, Di Fara Pizza in Brooklyn, is now opening a dessert shop right around the corner.
Dom DeMarco, Di Fara Pizza's owner and primary wizard of tomato pie, will be offering Italian dessert and party classics such as the Sicilian cannoli-- hand-filled we might add --at the new sweets shop located at 1012 East 15th Street they're calling Di Fara Dolce Fatts.

The opening of Di Fara Dolce Fatts coincides with the 50th anniversary of Di Fara Pizza's opening back in 1966 and will share an address with DeMarco's other eatery, MD Kitchen, another Italian joint that serves pasta and sandwiches.
So pretty soon one of the coolest pizza guys in the history of NYC pizza is going to have a dessert shop in addition to his sandwich shop.

Most important part? Di Fara Dolce Fatts is rumored to include a waiting area for the pizza shop.
Maybe Dom just opened Dolce just to house all the people waiting for his pizza, the lines are pretty insane, but it's that good...
