Until October 11th, Smorgasburg will run their new Prospect Park location; though all the market's outdoor functions are expected to close by November 21st.

 Scheduled to begin October 17th, Smorgasburg and Brooklyn Flea will be occupying about 50,000 square feet of the total six million at Industry City. 

DNA Info reports that both markets will operate out of Sunset Park for the winter until the summer markets start back up again next year.

Indoor Smorgasburg? Dope. Were stoked.  

Markets will be open for "winter residency" on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and "will feature about 40 local and regional food vendors as well as Industry City-based companies such as Home Frite, Blue Marble Ice Cream, and Mofongo."

Relocating these markets will hopefully be an effective strategy for maintaining the momentum the City has given to them, which in turns keeps the participating businesses, artists, designers, and re-sellers stimulated with a weekly stream of customers.
