Of course you do, everyone does. The comedians popping off in our city is one of NYC's best aspects, and this comedy show going down on Monday night at the Brooklyn Brewery will be no exception.
Above Average Comedy Showcase will be hosted by Matt Catanzano and Richie Moriarty, and will feature six comedians including John Early and Josh Sharp.
The Brooklyn Brewery's doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the comedy starts at 8 p.m. The best part? It's absolutely free. It'll feature Sasheer Zamata of (Saturday Night Live) and another special surprise guest. Who doesn't like surprises?
Tuesday, September 22nd

This happy hour celebrates the coming of autumn with delicious, refreshing beer, mouth-watering Italian food, and dope music by Allison Kinney.
Going down at Piacere, this happy hour will include wine and prosecco, plus an authentic Italian vibe. Not to mention Moretti's organic Italian pizza which is thin and crunchy and will probably light your world on fire.

Excellent, then listen up. And even if you just have an abiding love of whiskey, well, listen up, too.
At WhiskyFest 18th annual WhiskyFest, 350 whiskies from around the world will be available to taste. You'll also be able to learn from master distillers and blenders. WhiskyFest is the longest-running and most attended whisky festival in the United States.
Plus, there will be a never-ending gourmet buffet, which is amazing news, since food is everything.
The Grand Tasting will occur between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., and seminars given by master distillers and blenders will break out at 7 p.m., 7:45 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. It's all going down at the New York Marriott Marquis. Get your tickets here.
4. New York Burlesque Festival
Going down from Thursday September 24th through Sunday September 27th, the New York Burlesque Festival will rage through the city for the 13th year in a row.
It will include over 100 glittered-out performers from around the globe, including B.B. Kings, DJ Bill Coleman, and a Stripped Out after party hosted by Burlesque Beat. Performances will range from burlesque (obviously) to live music and comedy.
