This is one chain restaurant that knows what’s up in the dipping domain.
The menu here proposes a tray of 3 dipping sauces & house made ketchup. Let’s be real, you had us at TRAY of dipping sauces.
Tip: truffle fries are amazing.
3. Sticky’s Finger Joint (various NYC locations)
Unfortunate name with fortunate food.
Come on, grown up kid food? Gourmet chicken fingers people. You’d be lying if you didn’t admit this is at least 95% of our population’s dream come true.
Just don’t forget to bring a moist towelette for post-finger clean up. Garlic lovers unite for the Vampire killer sauce.
4. Spritzenhaus 33 (33 Nassau Avenue - Brooklyn)
This dipping hot spot boasts a wide assortment of dipping sauces for fry immersion. A beautiful spectrum that goes from sweet and spicy bbq, to blue-cheese-bacon-walnut mayo.
Did we mention BACON? Because bacon and mayo is a brilliant combination. A marriage that should never get divorced. Forget the fries, we’ll eat these sauces with a spoon.
5. NY Burger Company (various NYC locations)
Two words: Sauce bar. Like music to a dipping sauce lover’s ears.
They don’t just stop at fries either, they dole out a wide selection of tools for bathing in their sauce collection bar.
With onion rings, sweet potato fries, and asparagus fries as choices…why not get them all? The combinations are seemingly endless.
,6. Waterfront Ale House (540 2nd Avenue)
Abundant plunging options: Chicken fingers, fried shrimp, and two kinds of calamari all for your dipping pleasure.
What did we learn here? We like to dip fried things.
Because…fried.
7. The Dead Rabbit (30 Water Street)

Hear us out: Truffled chips that come with three dipping sauces.
Say no more. Everyone knows truffled means fancy. Delicious fancy. What else does everyone know? That three dipping sauce choices is the minimum. Fact.
8. Soho Park (62 Prince Street)
This establishment takes fry immersion to a whole new level. At 75 cents a pop, we’ll take a whole vat of their varietal dipping sauces.
They earn extra points for multiple dipping apparatus. Their choices don't stop with fries, and we love them for that; try your hand at dipping fried pickles, zucchini, and onion rings and leave happy.
9.Kabob Shack (182 Havemeyer Street - Brooklyn)
If you like a little spice in your life, trust us here.
Head to Williamsburg to the K-shack (cute, right?) and order the fried potatoes with jalapeno cheddar dipping sauce and the next level up sauce known as “kicker.” You’re welcome.
10. Resto (111 East 29th Street)
Their lavish frites might be a bit on the pricy side; they have 8, count ‘em 8 dipping sauces to choose from as add ons… to your bill that is.
Creative and delicious dips? They got us good. Keep this one in your pocket as the best dippin’ sauce date spot.
