If you grew up in the 90s like us, you loved Tommy, feared Angelica, laughed at Chuckie, and had a really soft spot for Lil' and Phil.

Basically, Rugrats was everything. 

You sobbed during the Rugrats movie. You aligned yourself with Tommy's bravery and courage, and admired his loyalty, even if you'd forgotten the plot of that movie was to get rid of his new baby brother, Dill. 

You probably haven't watched an episode of Rugrats for a few years now, and have had a Tommy-sized hole in your heart ever since.

Which might change very soon.

"We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way," said Russell Hicks, President of Content and Development at Nickelodeon.

According to Variety, the network might experiment with retooled versions of Rugrats, Hey! Arnold, You Can't Do That on Television, or Victorious. While they may not come back as series, they might show up as movies or specials. We're so excited we can hardly sit still.

Hicks said they're looking to bring back shows that were loved by Nickelodeon's earliest generation - the generation who now has kids of their own.

President of content and development Russell Hicks says "We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way… We are getting ready to bring back some of the ones [older fans have] told us multiple times they want to have brought back."  I'm not too sure about this one, what do you think?

The effort is already underway. The classic Kenan & Kel, the one that would make anyone who grew up in the 90s gush, will have a role in a new series called Game Shakers, that will debut on September 12th.
