Today is the National Park Service's 99th birthday! And what are they doing to celebrate?
Well, they're giving you free admission to all parks, beaches, and monuments they've got to offer. That's in the entire country.
This is great news, because everyone knows New Yorkers love fun. Plus, we could all stand to save a couple bucks.
Yes, we know it's a weekday, but maybe you could take that vacation day you've had your eye on, and high tail it over to Ellis Island.
Or you could just chill until you finish work and then make your way to Saratoga Park.

The National Park Service has over 408 parks, beaches, and forests that you'll be able to visit for free today. This includes 59 national parks, and though admission is free, sadly features like parking and camping may still cost you.
Since there are so many, chances are there's a beach, park, monument, or forest near you that you can hit up for free today.
