This news is huge. Bigger than +pool or SummerStreets ever was. We hope you're sitting down for this one.

As of yesterday, Williamsburg's second Starbucks will serve alcohol in addition to chai tea lattes and frappuccinos. Yes, you heard right. Alcohol. At Starbucks. The world just got a whole lot more wonderful.

This Starbucks is located at 154 North Seventh Street, and will officially be able to get customers drunk as a part of "Starbucks Evenings" after 4 p.m. They'll also serve wine, beer, and small plates in the late afternoon and evening.

miralegaspi Power up my night. Please?

What types of beer and wine, you ask? Great question. This Williamsburg boozy Starbucks will serve craft beers by Brooklyn Brewery, as well as ten types of wine, including prosecco and Malbec.

And before you worry about the legalities of this all, don't worry. Starbucks thought of it all. They snagged their beer and wine license last year from the State Liquor Authority.

And no, this wasn't achieved without backlash. More than 500 locals were mad about people getting drunk in Starbucks and signed an anti-Starbucks petition.

Rachel Antalek, Starbucks' vice president of Concept Innovation said most locals were supportive of the liquor license, despite the fact that they "might not have been as loud," as the naysayers.

prisci.f.baby Ahhh... Beerrrrr!!! 🍺 ....it does a body GOOD. #TrustMe #StarbucksBeer 😄

"We felt the vibrancy for the community," Atalek said. "This is [a neighborhood] that would really respond to having an evening gathering place."

Williamsburg is not the first boozy Starbucks in the U.S. In fact, there are more than 70 of them. One already exists in NYC, and it's a "Stealth Starbucks" in the Macy's in Herald Square.

So if you want to get drunk and chill at Starbucks all at once, head over to Williamsburg ASAP. In all likelihood, we'll probably see you there. Because booze.
