Shpongle (Simon Posford), Paper Diamond, XXYYXX, Nora En Pure, and Liquid Stranger top the lineup for this year's Elements Outdoor Music & Art Festival, presented by BangOn! 

It's going down once again on August 22nd from 1 p.m to 10 p.m. in the South Red Hook Grain Elevator at GBX Gowanus Bay Terminal.

We're especially excited for Simon Posford's set. It's true, a Posford DJ set isn't the same as other Shpongle experiences, but it is definitely one of the best sets to explore a Goa Trance flavored dream. 

If you've never been, you should know it's a wilder party than you might expect.

The festival is uniquely arranged on four different stages thematically organized by the natural elements Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. 

There will be incredible "large-scale themed art installations, 3D projection mapping, death-defying aerial performances, magnificent art cars, decadent food trucks, exotic clothing/jewelry vendors, rides, slides, circus performances, and an entire new world to experience."

Sounds a little too amazing, right? Not even a little bit. Count us in!

In past years, Elements has gained acclaim both for booking a bunch of great artists, and their emphasis on developing the atmosphere in a better/crazier/more creative way than your usual one-day festival. 

It's hedonism for your senses with great music, wild visuals on art installations with bonkers performances, and way more rolled into a little community.

This promises to be much more than just another festival, "but an epic, sublime extravaganza," taking place "in one of Brooklyn's most unique rage spaces" located at 699 Colombia Street.

Shuttles will be running from the train, or, you know, take the 15/20 minute walk. You can grab your tickets right here. 

Plus, BangOn! is hosting the official Elements After-Party at The Wick, starting at 11 p.m. with beats by Hotel Garuda and "unannounced headlining DJs from the day party as well as your favorite local DJs."
