After a huge 40th season, and a particularly wonderful anniversary show, Saturday Night Live is prepped for a huge fall season.
Saturday Night Live has announced this fall it will feature hosts Miley Cyrus and Amy Schumer during its 41st season.
But the major news comes for October 17th when Tracy Morgan will return to the stage for the first time since being critically injured in a car crash back in June 2014.
Miley Cyrus will host on October 3rd for her third time, Amy Schumer will host October 10th for her SNL debut.
This will be Tracy Morgan's second time back in the limelight ever since his car crash in June of 2014 when he suffered a traumatic brain injury on the New Jersey Turnpike.
He returned to television last year for an interview with NBC's Matt Lauer.
This is incredibly warm news in light of the weird "remembrance" Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin gave for him back in February in the middle of the 40th Anniversary Show.
It was a heartfelt moment, but a painfully distressing reminder that he still hadn't yet recovered from a tragedy that had claimed the life of one of Morgan's close friends, James McNair.
Yesterday, Morgan tweeted that he's "stoked to be going home," by hosting SNL. He also also told Lauer he "can't wait to make [his fans] laugh again."
