If you've experienced a breakup in the past year, had your heart broken, or fell into sun-in-your-eyes love, you've likely used a track or two off of 1989 by Taylor Swift as an anthem.

And if you didn't, we can't really relate-- but moving on.

Just as the top-40 radio stations are massacring "Bad Blood" by playing it five times every hour, Ryan Adams is swooping in with his own invigorating take on Swift's nearly perfect album.

The album is completely meaningful in its original composition, but Ryan Adams has a knack for immersing himself in the emotional timbre of already-amazing songs.

If you love music, you know how it feels to replay songs until you're numb to their feel.

And then, you hear a really good cover, and you're showered by the embrace of that particular song's feelings all over again.

So naturally, we're amped for the release of Ryan Adam's covers.

Ryan Adams has been tweeting about the creation of the cover album, saying about "Bad Blood," "Unreal song, Taylor. Wow."

Frankly, we agree. And we think Ryan Adams' gritty, authentic take on the song adds something special, too.

We also like his rendition of "Shake it Off." Adams' version is less dance than Swift's, but more in-your-face emotional.

And his take on "Out of the Woods" takes that rhythmic, obsessive jam and turns it into something entirely different. Adams said about covering it, "Omg, this is pretty and like-- maybe the best sad song I ever did. In the best way."

Basically, we respect Ryan Adams musical prowess. We're about what he's doing, and we can't wait to see what he comes up with when he covers "Welcome to New York."

Taylor Swift has retweeted several of Adams' covers. So yeah, we guess she's amped about it too.

How can you not be after listening to these above snippets, right?
