The idea, Bandwagon states, is really quite simple:

We match passengers in long taxi lines at airports, conferences and other crowded venues, providing a more affordable mobility alternative to waiting in long taxi lines and black car services." 

Pretty simple, right? Right. 

But the question remains. Will New Yorkers take the plunge and actually start doing something they've long hated and resisted: share a yellow cab? 

Time will tell.

But if this app would help clear up our high-trafficked roads-- as the New York Daily News has stated it would-- we're really all for it.
