Welp... it's officially August now, and it's getting hotter than ever.
There are plenty of ways to make this a bangin' week, and one that will leave you satisfied with summer. One that will leave you saying, "Hmm, it's okay that fall is coming soon. I'm completely fine with summer ending."

Ah, the Central Park SummerStage Music Festival, making summers in NYC just as beautiful as they're supposed to be.
Monday evening, the cast of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical which chronicles the early life and career of the legendary musician, will perform in Central Park as part of SummerStage at Rumsey Playfield.

This event is occurring August 2nd through August 4th, so we figured it'd be best for you to see it on its last night to beat the midweek blues.
Empire Biscuit, the East Village's 24-hour biscuit shop, is hosting this celebration of comedy. It will feature Hasan Minhaj from the Daily Show, Sasheer Zamata from SNL, and other hilarious performers. Your $16 admission also gets you a free biscuit and a beverage.

Fort Greene's addition of Brooklyn Flea will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be confined to a 40,000-square-foot schoolyard at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School with 150 vendors selling food and goods.
What goods will be for sale? Great question. Brooklyn Flea, one of the city's top attractions, sells furniture, vintage clothing, collectibles and antiques, a "tightly curated" selection of jewelry, art, and crafts.
What kind of food will they sell? Well, Brooklyn Flea operates Smorgasburg, so they know what they're doing when it comes to food.
The New York Times called Brooklyn Flea "one of the greatest urban experiences in New York." So if haven't checked it out, or you have checked it out and need to shop, get here this weekend.
Sunday, August 9th
7. Mad Decent Block Party (1904 Surf Avenue - Brooklyn)
The Saturday edition of the Mad Decent Block party is sold out. Lucky for you though, you can still get tickets to Sunday's show.
This off the chain event will feature CL, a DJ set from Gorgon City, Grand Theft, Ilovemackonnen, and more.

The 2015 lineup features the most popular artists in rap and EDM. This now annual festival began as a block party seven years ago. Now, it's a bumping festival that fills stadiums to capacity.
It's going to be held in Brooklyn's MCU Park, home to the Coney Island Cyclones, at 2 p.m. on Sunday. It's going to rock. Get your tickets here, and quick.

The Annual Dominican Day Parade is celebration with a purpose, fun with an amazing cause. Dominican Day Parade, Inc. strives to provide an understanding of the heritage and contributions of the Dominican community in America and the world.
The purpose of this parade is to celebrate the richness of Dominican culture.
This year' parade theme is "Educational and Economic Empowerment," and the organization is focused on raising over $250,000 to distribute as scholarship money to reward aspiring under-privileged students in the Dominican Community.
It'll be rocking down 6th avenue on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. If you want to march, visit Dominican Parade's website. Or just show up on Sunday and be a part of the celebration.
