Like many 90's children, Jay & Silent Bob may have determined, to some large degree or otherwise, your path in life. 

Who are we kidding? If you've seen almost any Kevin Smith movie, you know damn well you're either motivated to be Jay or Silent Bob, or you're motivated to never be Jay or Silent Bob. 

Either way is fine with us. 

We're just saying, those guys are legends.

Now if you've ever dreamt of, like, kickin' it outside and watching Mallrats for free in the presence of none other than this infamous duo, dream no longer!

Here's your chance: Tuesday, August 4th along the waterfront at 50 Kent Ave in Brooklyn. It's bring your own snoochie boochies. The film is set to start at sunset, but it's recommended attendees arrive at 5pm for a Q&A with Jason Mewes, and his hetero-lifemate, Kevin Smith.

Now writer, director, and actor Kevin Smith (aka Silent Bob [aka Chronic]) is all over the place, all the time. He has an AMC show, Comic Book Men, about-- you guessed it-- comic books! He does speaking tours; he's generally available to the public eye.

But Jason Mewes (aka Jay [aka Blunt Man]), he's no less prolific but somehow less visible. And that's cool, the mystery does him well. We kind of hope he's selling nickel bags for $15 back in Leonardo, New Jersey still.

At the same time though, we also hope he's surrounded by piles of tree, women, and Siberian tigers held up in some mountain lair accessible only to the most elite convenience store hangout vets.

Because the event is on the waterfront, you're probably going to see some sailboats and/or schooners. Please do not break Willam's focus.
