Ever wanted to waterslide down the streets of New York City? Let's be real. Everyone does.
Next month, Summer Streets will be at it again, closing a section of Park Avenue off to cars on August 1st, 8th, and 15th.
So how will people be getting around, you'd like to know? Great question. They'll be rollerblading, jogging, cycling, watersliding, and ziplining down a 165-foot zip line. That's right. We said waterslide.
To answer the question you're dying to know, the 270-foot waterslide will be located at Foley Square in Lower Manhattan.
Summer Streets will also include a dog park at Astor Place and a "Soccer Zone" at Foley Square.
