Ninja is sequestered in a stuffy Tribeca basement that's designed as a Spanish castle.
Complete with rickety, narrow passageways, private booths and stealth-scare ninja actors, you'll definitely have a one-of-a-kind dining experience here.

Take the "ninja-vator" up to ninja village once inside. Be sure to not scream when you're greeted by a ninja, or when your food is served in fire and dry ice.
Their sushi rolls are huge. The dragon roll is delicious, and is served breathing fire. The Endan appetizer is two tacos-- one lobster and one short rib. They're both absurdly delicious.
To find this place, be on the lookout for the lantern in front of 25 Hudson Street-- it's easy to miss.
2. Opaque - Dining in the Dark (16 West 29th Street)
Have you ever heard of that thing when you lose one sense, your brain turns up the volume on your other senses?
Like, really turns up the volume?
That's the principal behind Opaque - Dining in the Dark's especially unique dining experience. As in, they throw you into a pitch-black room so you'll find out what's like to really use your senses of smell, taste, and touch.
Don't worry, you get to make your dining choices in a well-lit room before you're thrust into totally blackness by visually-impaired waiters who are all too used to getting around in the dark.
It all goes down at The Breslin Bar & Dining Room, where chef April Bloomfield cooks up contemporary British pub food.

This raunchy, subversive play features a buffet that's just as raunchy and subversive. You'll be offered three cuisine options: lobster, pig on a spit, and beef rib.
There are no words spoken during this play, but that hardly matters-- as body language serves as double duty.
To begin the evening, you're lead down a majestic staircase and fondled by a group of performers who may give you a slip of paper with a mission written on it. Don't worry, you get to get drunk while completing your mission.
After this part of the evening, you're led to your table to eat and watch the wild play unfold. After the play, you'll get to dance with the performers.
Be sure to blur the lines between fiction and reality during this absolutely unique dining experience.

You're in luck, because the grand opening of this innovative SUSHI ROXX is this week.
It's a multi-media performance. There's high energy, talented dancing with stellar choreography. There's singing. There are lit-up dinosaurs and a bathroom that provides its own experience: with floor-to-ceiling mirrors and strobe lights.
Basically, SUSHI ROXX is a party. And all of this is combined with delicious food and an innovative take on sushi.
With their "Big Mac" and "Roxx Box," you don't have to eat sushi in the traditional, unsatisfying way. You can go in. Because these rolls don't contain chewy seaweed, which makes high energy consumption more difficult.
Oh, and the Miso Salmon is absolutely to die for.

There's something weird about the dining experience at Peep.
What happens while you're using the bathroom at Peep is ... you can watch the rest of the people in the restaurant eating while you're doing whatever you're doing on the toilet.

At this restaurant/bar, guests eat and drink among the bizarre-- which includes spooky special effects, mingling with the characters of the famous "Jekyll and Hyde" tale, and watching Frankenstein's Monster re-animate.
Their food options include 62 dishes such as a Create-Your-Own-Monster burger, Frankenstein's Favorite, and The Mummy (which is sirloin bandaged in your choice of cheese).
