Every New Yorker knows the New York City subway system is consistently marred with endless delays.
So in an effort to provide Governor Andrew Cuomo with a first-hand experience of New Yorkers' frustrations, the Riders Alliance has been trying to get Cuomo to ride the subway-- but thus far, to no avail.
So what did the Alliance decide to do instead? They took matters into their own hands and brought the Governor along themselves-- in cardboard cut-out form, that is.
See, since Governor Cuomo hasn’t yet funded the MTA’s five-year capital plan to improve the New York City subway system, the Riders Alliance provided New Yorkers with an opportunity to air their issues directly to Cuomo, in all of his cardboard cut-out glory.
Watch this video below-- brought to you by StreetFilms-- and check out for yourself exactly how Cardboard Cuomo’s ride went.
