Today, FAO Schwarz on 5th Avenue opened their doors for the very last time. 

But let's try to remember the good ol' times, shall we? As in, this March 31st, 2007 marriage proposal. 

Eight years ago-- in quintessential New York City fashion-- an absolutely epic engagement of two former FAO employees, Jay and Tina, was excellently captured on video. 

We don't know the details, but watch below as they perform "Heart and Soul" on the Big Piano. And then witness the magic unfold. 

Thanks for the memories, FAO. Now here's to hoping that rumored new location near Times Square will create just as many memories for generations to come.
