This just in: there is a new pop-up food market at One Penn Plaza called Penn Plates. Well, it's been open since June 5th and will continue until November 15th but who the hell knew, right?
It's open during prime outdoor dining time in the pedestrian plaza between 7th and 8th Avenues, with entrances on both 33rd and 34th Streets.
And it's got some serious offerings.We can't overstate how serious it is. Seriously.
The vendors include Roberta's, Calexico, Arancini Bros, Enfes Turkish Food, Black Iron Burger, Taco Bono by Macondo, Frida's Favorites, Mason Jar NYC, Gelato Ti Amo, Sigmund's, Uma Temakeria, Jicama "California Street Food", Kartoffel Fresh Cut Frites and Meats, and Melt Bakery.
