Everyone knows New York City's free movies in Bryant Park are an absolute and literal madhouse.

For one, they're completely mobbed and getting a seat is impossible. For two, they're completely mobbed and filled with crazy people, as is par for the course in this wild city.

That's why we rejoiced in April when the Rooftop Film Club announced they were bringing their summer screening series to the luxurious terrace of Yotel in Midtown, known to rock one of the greatest rooftop views in the entire city.

This wonderful event is composed of rooftop movie screenings, at sunset, for $16.82. If you pay just $10.55 more, you'll get food and drinks along with your movie and sunset.

If what we're telling you doesn't sound wonderful enough, we know what will get your attention. Headphones and blankets are available at these screenings for whomever wants them. Doesn't that sound lovely?

On a sour note, the NYC Rooftop Film Club's July movies are completely sold out. But before you start crying, hear us out and put those tissues away.

Because our friends at TimeOut just announced the NYC Rooftop Film Club's August lineup, and it's stacked.

They'll be showing classic flicks like The Breakfast Club on August 2nd, Clueless on August 25th, and The Goonies on August 30th-- among many, many more. Check the full schedule here.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the films start at around 8:30 p.m. August tickets are available here, and we advise you to get them sooner rather than later.

Odds are they'll sell out before the week is up.
