Sick of one-night stands? More sick of Tinder? That's because dating in New York City sucks, remember?

Thomas Knox is here to change all that. He's been systematically answering every hopeless romantic's dreams. How, you might wonder?

He sets up a table and folding chairs at various subway stations, drapes it with a white tablecloth and a supply of flowers, and sits behind a makeshift sign that reads "Have a Date While You Wait."

Then, he waits for a date to join him.

His goal is to "spread love and joy" to his fellow New Yorkers, which has obviously been working so far. He's posted photos of 30 different dates to his Facebook Page in the last 10 days, including several dates where he and his dates played Connect 4.

"Playing Connect 4 was super cool and everyone loved the idea," Knox wrote on his Facebook page.

One of Knox's dates, Instagram user ameliamagritte, posted this message below a photo of Knox on her page:

"Day was going kind of sh*tty, and then I came across this cute fella at West 4th Street and lost a few games of Connect 4 while waiting for the C train. New York always manages to remind you of its charm at the perfect time."

So, in this instance at least, Knox's goal of spreading love and joy was successful.
