Every New Yorker knows what it's like to be crammed onto a subway, dangerously close to people's unlaundered armpits and leaking earwax ears and smelly breath.
If you don't know what it's like, you either haven't lived here long enough or you have a dream schedule that doesn't require you to ride the 6 train through Grand Central during rush hour.
Regardless, the good folks over at Gothamist have come up with the perfect solution.
With space savers like "the crane," where you drape your ankle over your shoulder, or "the smelly bikram," where both ankles are draped over both shoulders, this hilarious video below maps out the least possible space any New Yorker can take up on the subway.

But since we're not all yoga instructors, we really, really hope this video doesn't get back to MTA.
Or else they might start requiring the "reverse fetal" of all of us.
