Joe's Pizza, the iconic, highly-regarded New York City pizza joint, is officially coming to Brooklyn-- 216 Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, to be exact.

The original Carmine Street establishment dates all the way back to 1975, and this will be its third location, following the two-year-old East Village one. The Brooklyn location will also be family-run and operated-- just like the two others.

Owner Joe Pozzuoli recently told NY Eater that he's hesitant to expand further, but that "the 'vibe' and 'energy' of Williamsburg makes the location a logical one... We want to keep the corner slice joint going. We need more good, classic New York slices."

(P.S.- check out more of their story in the video below by NY Eater.)

The other good news is that the slices and prices will be exactly the same as those in the other two locations.

So, are you ready Brooklyn? Joe's is set to open in the middle of this very month.
