Wha do you think the best part about Saturday Night Live is? (Well, besides its hilarious skits and farcical news, which consistently reflect the pulse of American society.)

Whatever you think it might be, the fact is that every Saturday night since October 1975, Saturday Night Live has aired on NBC.

We can all relate to the anxiety of needing to do something fun on a Saturday night. And just maybe, for some of us, SNL relieved that anxiety. The "what should we do tonight?" question, when answered with "drink wine and watch SNL," was fun and relieving.

An amazing shrine, entitled "Saturday Night Live: The Exhibition," has now opened on 5th Avenue and it seems pretty fitting, as this year marks its 40th anniversary.

(The only downer about this new exhibition is its price: according to NBC, $29 for adults and $26 for children under 12.)

The exhibit is located twelve blocks south from SNL's home at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and is a satisfyingly immersive experience, as visitors are able to walk from room to room through the crazy, harrowing, barely possible process of putting together each episode in six days.
