OBSG Collective is a talented squad of eight New York City musicians, designers, cinematographers, and photographers who are focused on creating high quality art, design, film, and music.

All eight members are amazing as single entities, each exhibiting creative excellence on his/her own.

But together, the collision of all eight of these artists results in a unique, symbiotic culture that's both captivating and worldly.

What exactly happens when you multiply dope vibes by good times? Well, this:

On Saturday June 20th, OBSG Collective will exhibit their eclectic work in an art installation entitled Outer Thoughts at Brooklyn's Studio 301 (from 8 p.m. to midnight).

Now let's take a look at some of the night's unique artists.

 Michael McIntosh

Ornamented with the title of pop-surrealism, Michael J McIntosh's (a.k.a. Johninthemiddle) art is highly conceptual. His work aims to challenge the current state of human ideology through the use of image-- his powerful artistic tool of choice.

Check McIntosh's amazing video Shroomin' It, for a sample of the type of videos the evening will entail.

McIntosh is an NYC based artist, visual/motion designer and director, and he will be among the eight OBSG Collective making a splash at Outer Thoughts on the evening of June 20th.

Rodney Hazard

Producer and OBSG-member Rodney Hazard will provide the event's audio. He's a multi-faceted artist, but his focus is directed principally toward art direction and music.

His lucid production style combined with his design solutions are category-breaking and revolutionary, in both past and present hip-hop.

His reservoir of inspiration is varied and far-reaching, and his musical experience is guaranteed to keep listeners intrigued.

Hazard's talent for distorting and recreating sounds is completely his own, and his artwork is a direct reflection of his "left field way of thinking."

Lauren Espejo

A Filipino-American "third culture kid," Lauren Espejo is a visual artist and graphic designer.

She was born and raised in Queens, and is a proud member of the Professional Association for Design (AIGA), RAW: natural born artists, and the Asian American Arts Alliance.

Currently, she works in Harlem as a designer. Her work has been showcased at the See Exhibition Space, Angel Orensanz Foundation, Greenpoint Gallery, and as a part of the NYC RAW: natural born artists Chapter.

According to OBSG, she "strongly believes in collaborating with other young professionals and their respective skill sets to make a noticeable dent in our backwards society."

Espejo also believes in 1 Corinthians 4:12, "We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it."

Raphael Gibbs

Raphael Gibbs is a filmmaker whose work is energized by what surrounds him.

The Director Of Photography for OBSG, Gibbs strives to imbue his work with emotion and a set mood. He aspires to develop as a motivator and inspiration to the film industry with his distinct visuals.

Ralph Moreau

Ralph Moreau is one of the OBSG Collective. He's a designer and illustrator who's in a perpetual quest for style and change.

Raisin Brand

Raisin Brand, a multi-named and multi-faceted artistic entity, provides a variety of audio and visual production from his specific Brooklyn-based niche.

He fosters a deep and endless love for everything purple, graffiti, and knowledge. He pushes the limits of impossible things, and makes them seem possible.
