The two cities that represent the behemoth of America's culture are clearly New York City and Los Angeles.

Most of the people that live in either of these two cities think that everyone who lives anywhere else in this country has got to be... well, kidding themselves.

So when you live in exceptionalist cities like the aforementioned-- that tend to represent the epicenter of our country's culture, that sort of epitomize America in the eyes of foreigners-- you tend to harbor a bit of resentment for one another.

So recently Jimmy Kimmel, who pretty much thrives on that kind of televising resentment by turning it into something hilarious (check out some of his celebrity tweets to see what we mean), decided to interview people in both LA and NYC to see what the other thought of each other.

(Here's a spoiler alert: they weren't very nice.)

While we definitely think NYC beat LA in this competition, we will admit that like the good folks over at Viewing NYC, we're biased.

(Because our city is simply better... right?)
