Did you know you can get some of the most delicious cuisine in the world in New York City?
Well now, it's official. NYC has been dubbed home to some of the best food on the planet-- in award form-- for 2015.
The award, naming the World's 50 Best Restaurants, is revealed every year by The World's 50 Best.
This year's list, after much anticipation, was announced this past Monday night and included restaurants from all over the globe, from Spain to Tokyo and even Thailand.
And yes, you guessed it: this city even made the cut, with three restaurants in the top 50.

Last year, NYC had four restaurants make the list. So, in a bummer twist of fate, we're down one this year.
But still, the three restaurants that made the World's 50 Best Restaurants for 2015 also made the list last year, so you could bet your bottom dollar that they're pretty effin' good.
So without further adieu, the world's best restaurants in NYC are as follows. Which are you making plans for and splurging on?
1. Eleven Madison Park (11 Madison Avenue)

Eleven Madison Park topped the list with a #5 finish, so by virtue of the transitive property, this happens to also be the best restaurant in NYC (well, according to these particular judges).
2. Le Bernardin (155 West 51st Street)
Le Bernardin ranked in at number 18.
3. Per Se (10 Columbus Circle)

Some other NYC restaurants made the top 100 Best Restaurants in the world. NoMad was number 67, and Momofuku Ko hit the list at number 69. Daniel was ranked number 80, Estela was number 90, and Masa brought up the rear at number 94.
All in all, New York City was tied for second with the most amount of "best restaurants in the world," alongside Peru, Lima, and Mexico City.
So, we'll take it. We lost to Paris, but we can't win 'em all now, can we?
