Look How Cute: 12 Bite-Sized, Delicious Delights for a Massive Appetite in NYC

New York City may be huge, but some of its most delectable finds are teeny-tiny.

What's so appealing about food so small? Besides the cuteness factor, sometimes you just want a little something, pocket-sized style.

Also, let’s be real, we like choices... and a lot of them. Why try just one kind when there are so many flavors abound?

That being said, don't get it twisted: these treats below might be a lil' small, but there’s loads of deliciousness… and all in one bite!

So here’s our not-so-small guide to 12 bite-sized delicious delights in New York City.

1. Mini donuts (The Doughnuttery - 425 West 15th Street)

knew23 What a yummy lil thing #doughnutteryNYC #ChelseaMarketNY

At the Doughnuttery in Chelsea Market, you’ll approach the counter where you can witness all of the magic happen.

All the baby donuts are in their nursery as you peer in; you'll probably start to comment on how adorable they are.

The sheer volume of combination choices will make your head spin, in a good way. Frostings, sprinkles, and flavorings, oh my!

2. Mini meatballs (Saluggi’s - 325 Church Street)

Desserts aren’t the only bitsy treats packing a punch in this big city.

Saluggi’s in Tribeca may be known for their pizzas, but their mini meatballs have their own claim to fame.

A mountain of meat in tiny ball form, bathed in homemade marinara sauce? Challenge accepted.

3. Mini tarts (3 Tarts - The Plaza Food Hall, 1 West 59th Street)

They are so cute you almost don’t want to eat them. ALMOST.

You can literally get a “tart tin” filled with teeny goodness to tote around. I can’t think of anything else I’d rather have a tin stocked with, can you?

4. Mini waffles (Wafels & Dinges - various NYC locations)

wafelsanddinges We'll say it again! There is nothing in the world like Wafels & a view! #dingesforeveryone #dinges #dingesinthepark

"All the world is a wafel and all of us are merely dinges.” Yeah, their tagline is pretty clever. It's sort of like Shakespeare, but, you know, about waffles.

Food poetry at its finest.

Dinges are the toppings in case you were wondering. Here, you can score the “Mini wafelini,” plain or choco-dipped. I think the choice here is obvious.

You’ll find these waffles on their truck, so go chase them down on Twitter @waffletruck

5. Mini corndogs (Double Wide - 505 East 12th Street)

swandad This is on my docket for today, squeezing in a #Habs game along the way. This is what comes with working on #EasterSunday. Meh. #Doublewidenyc

Despite its name, Double Wide is a small establishment itself.

Have a small hankering for a taste of the South? You can find exactly that in the form of mini corn dogs here in the East Village.

6. Mini pops (Pop Bar - 5 Carmine Street)

All the pretty pops lined up in a row, waiting to refresh you on a hot day in the West Village.

Appealing to the eye, and the belly. Handmade gelato and sorbet delicacy on sticks. Oh, and since the mini pops are pint-sized, you might as well try two.

They are immaculately constructed and the perfect size to throw back more than just a few-- a few hundred of them actually, all in a matter of seconds.

Honestly, once you start, it’ll be hard to stop.

8. Mini burgers, also known as sliders (The Growler - 55 Stone Street)

Miniature Mexican in Murray Hill.

If the mini tacos weren’t enough reason to find Mexican cute, let me introduce you to the mini burrito.

For when your stomach can’t handle that much Mexican goodness, now there’s the glorious option of a burrito you’ll want to put in your pocket. Except don't do that because that would wind up all sorts of gross.

10. Mini pudding shots (Sugar Sweet Sunshine - 126 Rivington Street)

Genius status, we know.
