If you think about it, you can classify almost any bar in New York City as a "Bro Bar" simply due to the sheer volume of bros that walk amongst us in this city.
Still, there are those elite few that just manage to bro it out better than the others.
We're talking about ones you walk in and automatically feel the urge to crush a beer can on your forehead and chest bump somebody.
The ones where there's never not at least 5 flat screens streaming sports, with at least one out of every three dudes in the joint working in finance, and, if he's a recent college graduate, have sunglasses around his neck.
Common overheard arguments will likely be over which one of them is going to take home the bartender because he totally could, bro.
So to all actual bros and their active supporters: These 7 spots will put you in, well, 7th heaven.
1. The 13th Step (149 2nd Avenue)

If New York bro bars were a royal kingdom, than this, my friends, would be its reigning king.
On any given night it's filled to the brim with fist-pumping frat bros throwing their hard-earned, or Dad-provided, money at the bartenders for cheap pitchers that will inevitably be sucked down via beer pong.

Other bars, which are at least deserving of an honorable mention, in this empire include similarly bro-y spots like Down The Hatch, Hair of the Dog, and Off The Wagon.
But they'll always be a step, or in this case, 12 steps, behind their fearless leader.
2. The Royal (127 4th Avenue)

"If you build it, they will come."
It: a sports bar with bottle service, a DJ, and 45 flat screens.
They: bros.
We've already told you this Union Square staple is the place to catch all the March Madness action, so it should really be no surprise that they stream other sports year-round, play Top 40 jams between plays, and keep the hot bartenders stocked.
Can you say moth to a flame?
3. Dorrian's Red Hand (1616 2nd Avenue)

The fact that this bar is a long-time Trinity hangout should really say it all.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the common demographic of this collegiate institution, it's the HQ for the maybe the preppiest, most entitled bros in the game.
Post-graduation, they-- along with every other bro who attended boarding school in the tristate area-- frequent here in all their salmon-colored shirts and popped-collar glory.
4. Wicked Willy's (149 Bleecker Street)

This bar could easily double as a basement / rec room space in a frat house. Cheap beers? Check.
Giant projector screen? Two illuminated beer pong tables? Dark corners to make out in? Check, check, check!
Actual NYU frat bros? Too many checks.
5. The Ainsworth (various NYC locations)

Add an even more clubby, upscale vibe to The Royal, and you have The Ainsworth. Located in Chelsea (and now also within walking distance, right off Park Avenue), there will be several unfastened ties and suit jackets flung over the backs of chairs at this one.
Most of these bros are coming straight from work to get their drink, dance, and sports watching on.
The real go-getters will even come during their lunch break. High five, bro!
6. Brother Jimmy's (181 Lexington Avenue)

The word "bro" is right there in the name! Of course they cater to this crowd.

Add in the the fact they're slinging fish bowls that double as glorified hunch punch (meaning no one knows what's in them, and no one asks).
Plus it's located smack dab in the Bro-sters Paradise that is Murray Hill, it's a wonder this joint hasn't burned to the ground due to a case of Bros Gone Wild: Blackout Drunk Edition.
7. The Wren (344 Bowery)

Upon walking in this place, it's possible you're hit in the face with someone's bank statement, because they're likely waving it around to try to get the bartender or some chick's attention.
Yuppy bros flow as steadily as the crafty cocktails in this Bowery haunt, and therefore, so do the gals looking to devour them both.
