Ground Zero Redemption: Overcharging Hot Dog Vendor Has Now Been Fired

UPDATE: Watch the video below for an update on the street cart vendor who was just fired today for overcharging New Yorkers.

In an absolute travesty for the New York City ages, there's a street cart vendor named Ahmed Mohammed in lower Manhattan whose prices fluctuate just as much as the stock prices on the New York Stock Exchange.

You might be thinking to yourself, "How high or low can the most expensive street cart vendor in the entire city go?"

Well, if you're a NYC tourist visiting the nearby Ground Zero and One World Trade Center sites, how does upwards of $35 for a hot dog and pretzel sound?

For New Yorkers, on the other hand, he was recorded by NBC 4 New York charging as "low" as $3 for just a hot dog.

Watch the shocking NBC 4 video below to see exactly how Mohammed reacted when he was confronted by the local news station-- right on camera.
