Another day, another one enters the 'Rent Is Too Damn High' directory of lost iconic venues in New York City.

Bloomberg news is reporting that FAO Schwarz, the toy store best known for its larger-than-life piano played by Tom Hanks in "Big," will unfortunately be closing this summer.

A representative for Toys "R" Us, which owns the store, tells Bloomberg that it is definitely looking for another location and remains "committed to the FAO Schwarz brand and growing its legacy."

Will Tom Hanks make an appearance to play out the final days on 5th Avenue? Who knows but either way, swing by before the store closes in July (but maybe skip the 8 a.m. private tour/breakfast, unless you have a thing for living toy soldiers).
