You know, where the drinks are as cheap as the thrills and where you can drink like a baller-- without having to spend like one. Now here's 9 of them... enjoy 'em.
1. Rudy's Bar and Grill (627 9th Avenue)
At Rudy's, pints of draft brews (yes, pints) are all five dollars and under, and bottled favorites are all between three and five bucks each.
Oh, and food is available too, as in free hotdogs with the purchase of any drink. So when drinks are practically free and the food definitely is, you'll be full, drunk, and happy guaranteed.
2. Gowanus Yacht Club (323 Smith Street - Brooklyn)
The bar is all that better if there's food, right?
This seasonal beer garden will make you feel like this is your very own special hangout spot because of their cheap beers and grill food.
What better way to spend a summer night in Brooklyn, right?
3. Grassroots Tavern (20 Saint Mark's Place)
This feel-good place out in the East Village can promise you a satisfying night for only $10, and that's including the heaping $1 bowl of popcorn for you and your mates to chow down on.
Drink prices are low and pitchers are $9. Rock on.
4. KGB Bar (85 East 4th Street)
KGB Bar's cheap drinks compliment its traditions as a grounds for artistic appreciation.
With drinks averaging around $5 a pop, you can sip your favorite spirits while you listen to readings and performances from the local literary talent.
5. 12th Street Ale House (192 2nd Avenue)
A bar with a jukebox means that you can expect good vibes, and 12th Street Ale House sure delivers.
Opening each day at 5:00 p.m., 12th Street Ale House has a happy hour that lasts until 8 p.m. where all (yes, all) drinks are $4.50 and under.
This is one spectacularly good deal that makes a happy hour here a mandatory excursion.

At Pony Bar, craft brews are key. You should always keep your eye on their menu, as their drafts rotate on a consistent basis.
When variety is cheap, make sure you keep this Hells Kitchen spot on your list of regulars.
7. Continental (25 3rd Avenue)
If you love dirty, dingy dive bars (which you do, obviously, because who doesn't?) then you'll love Continental.
Or, if that's not enough incentive for you to go, then maybe you'll be drawn in by the fact that at any time of day or night, five shots are $10 total.
Blackout city, here we come!
8. Brooklyn Ice House (318 Van Brunt Street - Brooklyn)

This quaint Red Hook bar features barbecue pub fare that is classic and satisfying, but you came here to turn up.
And you can do that thanks to their four beer and shot combos.
All are $5 and under, like the Fiesta, where a Tecate and a tequila shot come hand in hand at five bucks each.
9. Parsons Ale House (79-08 Parsons Boulevard - Queens)

This homey bar definitely sports a crowd of usual customers, and it's probably because they have $3 shots and $4 mixed drinks all day every day.
