Summer is around the corner, and that's always a good thing for New Yorkers.
What might not be a good thing is having no way (or much cash) to get out to our area's best, most beautiful beaches located on Long Island.
That is, until now.
New York City Beach Bus is officially at your service, and they have wonderfully expanded their operation for Summer 2015.

In addition to the usual weekend trips to Rockaway Beach and nearby Jacob Riis, the company will now offer trips to Fire Island, Jones Beach, and Robert Moses. (Amazing, right?)
What's it going to run you?
Not much: $10 to Rockaway and Jacob Riis, $14 roundtrip to and from Brooklyn.
The three, newly announced trips for this year will run you a bit more, but how can you really complain: $20 for one-way, $30 roundtrip to and from Brooklyn. (Also, those also don't start until late June, so check back on their website as we get closer.)
So, what's the catch? There's no good way of saying this, but it is what it is: you will be ridin' in style... that is, if style were a big, yellow school bus.
But hey, there's free beer on board.
Guess you gotta take the good with the bad, right?
