Everyone knows Williamsburg is amazing. If you didn’t know, well, now you do.

It’s not just because of Pies 'n' Thighs, Brisketown, Smorgasburg, or any of Williamsburg’s other amazing food options.

Actually, their amazing food is part of the reason Williamsburg is so excellent, but another huge part is soul.

Many of their bars boast emotionally conscious things, things like fire pits and live music and poetic names, things that make open-souled people feel amazing.

So you want to find out where to party? Here are 7 spontaneous bars to explore on your next random night out in Williamsburg.

1. Music Hall of Williamsburg (66 North 6th Street) 

Is a band you’re obsessed with playing at the Music Hall of Williamsburg?

Get your tickets now, get your tickets an hour ago, get your tickets yesterday. What I’m trying to say is that you should have bought them already.

Here’s what you'll love about this place: its giant ceilings and dope vibe are enough to make the concert feel sort of majestic and giant, but the room and dance floor are small enough that you’ll get to be relatively close to the stage.

They also have a whole bunch of drinks and a cooler of easily accessible water at the bar, which is nice. And they have comfortable couches.

2. Brooklyn Bowl (61 Wythe Ave)

Everyone is real hype on Brooklyn Bowl, and with good reason. Because, um, it rocks.

Really, where else can you roll up squad deep, enjoy a delectable dinner (their food is incredible), drink like you’re at a beer sampling brewery (their selection will make you dizzy), and watch a show?

That’s right, while you’re laughing, bowling with your crew, slurping some beer and munchin' on wings, you can also watch a concert.

Haven’t been to Brooklyn Bowl? Change that, ASAP.

3. Ontario Bar (55 Grand Street)

Feeling competitive? Did your friend beat you in a race, and you want to enact your revenge?

Do you want to build up the tension with a little healthy competition on your date?

Then head to Ontario Bar, hands down the best bar in Williamsburg, for some good old-fashioned air hockey.

Do you have a hankering for some Canadian beer? Well then get to Ontario Bar! They also have really, really cheap American beers, too, so that’s a plus.

4. Hope Garage (613 Hope Street)

Where do we get started on how much this place rocks?

Should we start with their name? Hope Garage? Are you kidding? You'll never hear of a more aesthetically pleasing name for a bar, guarantee you that.

Next, they serve their full menu until 4 a.m. That's 4 a.m!

So when you and your friends have been in your apartment chilling out, and you realize it’s 2 a.m. and you still haven’t eaten dinner, don’t stress.

Get over to to Hope Garage, order a Hope Lemonade (delicious and deadly), and then order some wings. Or order some fruit salad. Whatever you’re in the mood for.

Hope Garage’s specialties are twofold: craft beer and homemade cocktail syrups. They even have their own homemade fireball. Need I say more?

5. Union Pool (484 Union Ave)

Is it enough that Union Pool has live music? No?

Well, they have a full calendar of live music shows, and they’re pretty amazing shows. They also have a fire pit and a backyard taco truck. Are you intrigued now?

They also have a photo booth, which is always a blast. It’s always fun to discover you had lipstick smeared all over your face in the morning when you peruse your pictures.

Disclaimer: contrary to popular belief, they do not have a swimming pool. What they do have, though, is a good time.

6. Maison Premiere (298 Bedford Ave)

Looking for a cool date spot?

Well, word on the street is oysters are an aphrodisiac. And whether that’s true or not, buying oysters for your date is a good look, and Maison Premiere has them until 1 a.m.

They also have some pretty gorgeous plants in their hanging-garden backyard, and a lot of different absinthe choices. In fact, they have the largest collection of premium Absinthes in New York City.

So, want to get drunk and forget what you did? Or, just drunk enough to do some crazy stuff you sort of won’t be able to believe actually happened?

Then, Maison Premiere sounds like the spot for you.

7. The Woods (48 S 4th Street)

The Woods is dope for several reasons: one of which being their pretty relaxed prices.

Like, you can get a Miller High Life and a shot of whiskey for $6, which really isn’t the case anywhere else. There’s also a big dance scene here.

So if you got off from work late because your boss was killing you with work  and you want to dance off your stress, hit up The Woods.

It’s excellent for a random night out. The only slight bummer about this place is that you might have to be prepared to pay a cover.
