Get ready for an excursion out to Red Hook for this worthwhile try for all barbecue lovers.
Hometown Barbeque executes flavors aside from just classic Texas BBQ super well. Start off with the sriracha hot wings, which have a nice kick and crunch to them.
Then go in for the 'cue. The brisket and pulled pork are fatty, tender, and moist, and their thick slices of corn bread are the perfect compliment to soak up all that juicy meat you're devouring.

Look out for the massive Brontosaurus Rib, which perhaps puts the mighty in Mighty Quinn's name, but you can enjoy everything else here just as much.

The burnt end baked beans are full of smoky flavor and absolutely addictive, cole slaw comes either in mayo or vinegar, the sweet potatoes come full of sweet candied nuts, and the brisket is almost famous.

At Fette Sau, the meat is carefully dry-rubbed, loaded with flavor, and smoked to perfection. Meats like Berkshire pork ribs and brisket are priced by the pound and plopped on a tray for you to enjoy.

If you're looking for a fun spot to spend your Friday and/or Saturday nights, then hit up this Harlem BBQ outpost, but don't forget to try the food while you're at it (obviously).

At this Long Island City joint, pork is a pleasure that should you should not miss out on. As in pork belly and ribs, tender as tender can be in a melt-in-your-mouth kind of way, you know?
John Brown's burnt ends (the ends of a brisket) are dry-rubbed and cooked, making them slightly crunchy, but packed with that good, mouthwatering smoky flavor.
Finish (or start, whatever you wanna do) it all off with the cornbread, and you'll be good.
8. Georgia's Eastside BBQ (192 Orchard Street)

Georgia's is a LES go-to for 'cue with kick-ass happy hour deals (#protip), where the beers are cheap (like we like 'em to be) and the sandwiches are only five bucks. Nice!

At Mable's, meats are plentiful and there's a sense of camaraderie surrounding the food, as seating is arranged in picnic tables, cafeteria style.
What's not to love about platters of hot link sausages, bold brisket, and flavorful pulled pork?
This is a perfect place to go to with friends, but keep in mind it's every man for himself when it comes to chowing down on this barbecue.
