We all know that New Yorkers take their food very seriously, and Jewish delis are no exception to the rule.
In fact, deli food defines what "New York food" truly is, just as much as pizza and bagels do.
The Zagat video below shows mouthwatering shots of matzo ball soup, pastrami, corned beef, chopped liver and more, all from the most well-known delis in New York City.
So once you've given in to that urge to run to your nearest deli and indulge in all of its decadency, be sure to try out some beef tongue (really?), as this video suggests.
But if that's not your "cup of tea," we hear the pastrami in NYC is to absolutely die for.
