With obvious choices like “food,” “party,” and “shopping,” there are also more individualizing options like “indie,” “nerdy,” and “gay.” Once you've chosen your three interests, click on the “plans” button, and watch dozens of activities that are perfect for you filter into your feed.

2. It's inexpensive
Partying on a budget? Fever has a ton of free and discounted options. From giveaways at exclusive restaurants like Blenheim, to $5 yogurts at the coolest new yogurt spot Yiaourti, to free cho-nuts at Kimchi Pop-Up (honoring all immigrant Americans), buying stuff has never been easier.
All you have to do is click on the food item, activity, or party you want to book, input your information and show them your ticket at the door or cash register. It's almost too good to be true. With Fever, you'll never have to un-crumple cash from your wallet praying you have enough, nor will you have to face the humiliation of your credit card getting denied.
When you arrive at a concert after RSVPing on this app, you'll have already paid and your entrance will be smooth, suave, and paperless (of course).
3. It's convenient
Rather than getting out your phone and shooting off texts, begging your friends to come with you to this or that activity, Fever will tell you which of your friends are attending an event. Then, you can call that friend and say, “Hey, wanna go together?”
Doing research to find Wednesday night activities before Fever was pretty bleak. You pretty much had to Google a specific activity, like “free concert,” which made your search so narrow. Ever had pre-date stress? You're not alone. Dating is tough because you want to plan an awesome evening that will make sparks fly.
Sometimes, this is tough when you don't know where to go, what to do, or how to basically make the date unforgettable. This app makes finding a spot for your date easy; all you have to do is take care of your good looks. Find out what your date is into, and submit their interests right into the app.
Not straight? I mentioned that “gay,” is one of Fever's interest options, so the days when you're stuck going to straight events and praying to spot at least one other gay person are gone.
6. Off-the-radar events
The events that Fever recommends are tailored to your personal interests-- not mainstream interests.
