Here are the top outing ideas for celebrating Mom this Sunday:
1. Two-Course Brunch at Vaucluse (100 E 63rd Street at Park Avenue)
Upper East Siders, treat mom to brunch at Vaucluse – a stylish casual brasserie featuring Chef Michael White's traditional French fare with an urban twist.
The special Mother's Day two-course menu includes hors d’oeuvres, handmade pastas, expertly prepared meats and fish with homemade breads and pastries baked fresh on-site. Brunch hours are 11:00am to 3:00pm for $55/person.
2. Italian Brunch in Jersey City (502 Washington Blvd– Jersey City)
Battello, an upscale, contemporary-Italian restaurant along the Jersey City waterfront, is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch with live jazz and a prix-fixe dinner menu. Moms can indulge in a lobster frittata or a strawberry mascarpone stuffed croissant inside the luxurious, industrial dining room and lounge.
The brunch buffet is $49 per adult/$20 per child; the two-course prix-fixe brunch is $39 per adult/$20 per child; and the three-course prix-fixe dinner is $59 per adult/$29 per child.
3. Brunch with Views at Fire & Oak (479 Washington Blvd)
Diners who choose the sophisticated Fire & Oak to celebrate the women in their lives will enjoy waterfront views and an upscale spin on casual classics.
Guests will have seemingly endless options, from a raw seafood bar and carving station to entrees like bananas foster French toast (#drooling) and penne primavera a la vodka. Seatings will be held at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; the buffet is $38.95 per adult and $18.95 per child.
4. Specialty Cocktail Brunch at Kingside (124 W 57th Street)
The epitome of a modern American bistro, Kingside is the perfect place to celebrate your leading lady with a delicious brunch.
From 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., enjoy their special Mother’s Day menu paired with “Here’s to the Ladies Who Brunch,” a refreshing cocktail created with mom in mind (Bombay Sapphire gin, apricot, lemon and rosemary, topped with Cava!).

5. Moms Eat Free at Greenwich Steakhouse (62 Greenwich Avenue)
Greenwich Steakhouse is showcasing its brand new brunch menu and offering mom the experience fo’ free, so they can indulge in their heavenly menu.
Some highlights include sweet Challah French Toast with berries and jam, Homemade Waffles with buttermilk and fresh ricotta, savory Lobster Risotto, and a choice of signature Greenwich Steakhouse breakfast sandwiches with two eggs, hash browns, salad and your choice of steak, bacon, or sausage.

6. Baby Brunch at Schimanski (54 N 11th St– Brooklyn)
The spot you think of for nightlife, Schimanski, will host “Brunch, Baby Brunch” the day before Mother’s Day (Saturday May 13th) to give moms and their little ones the perfect spot to celebrate early.
Brunch includes adult and kid’s meal options, cocktails and mocktails, a live DJ, arts and crafts, toy favor giveaways, stroller parking and more.
7. Farm-to-Table Brunch at Irvington (201 Park Avenue South)
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a bright farm-to-table experience at Irvington, located in the W Hotel Union Square. Irvington offers a Mediterranean-influenced menu of New American classics highlighting fresh, locally-sourced ingredients from the neighboring Union Square Greenmarket.

A favorite for the ‘Gram and for LES partiers, VANDAL is offering a special floral arrangements for each table on Mother’s Day, complete with a ½ bottle of Chandon. Special arrangement offerings from Ovando include a potted succulent (#trendy), a mini orchid or a classic bouquet.
