Get ready for another hot and sweaty weekend, New York City.

We barely made it out alive of the heat dome, and now those of us who made it out are still stuck with another weekend of ridiculously high temperatures.

When are we ever gonna catch a break, huh, Mother Nature?

At least the weekend is still bumpin' with plenty of events to hit up. 

Get up and hit the streets instead of sticking your head in the freezer all weekend.

We'll be pouring one out this weekend in hopes that this'll be the last sweaty as hell week we'll have to deal with this summer.


Thursday

The Miami Sessions


Satisfy the artist in you by checking out some of the coolest abstract art Miami has to offer from the comfort of NYC.

The Miami Sessions will feature work by Michael J. Mcintosh from his residency at the Art Center of South Florida. Chill out, bring a bud, and check out some funky art.

The artwork will be on display through the 30th, but come out tonight for a vibed out reception from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Bushwick Night Market Festival

Nothing like a little night market.

After the success of their first market, the Bushwick Night Market Festival is back at it again local vendors and live music. The Silent Barn will be hosting the market, and there'll be plenty of vendors, and even live art, to check out.


Sweat Fest

You were already going to sweat this weekend because of all the humidity, so why not sweat while getting in shape?

Sweat Fest is NYC's first ever health and fitness festival. There'll be live dance classes and workouts, along with vendors and speakers who specialize in health and wellness. Eat nYc - Bronx Food & Wine Festival


Now you can eat and drink all day for a good cause! The Bronx Food and Wine Festival on August 12th was put together to benefit the Food Bank for New York City.

It's the summer of water slides.

Sure, there'll be massive traffic in Manhattan this weekend because 60 blocks will become "shared streets" slow zone to accommodate for Summer Streets, but it's giving us the ability to slide down a 300 foot water slide in the middle of Manhattan, and that's a worthy price to pay.
